SHTA Plans Hike Celebration, Trail Project for National Trails Day, Saturday June 1st, 2013 -- And a Second Hike for Sunday June 2nd!
Each June, trail groups across the country celebrate National Trails Day. The day is organized by the American Hiking Society to highlight the importance of trails. In 2013 SHTA is planning to host two hikes on the newly constructed trail sections between Duluth and Two Harbors. In addition we'll complete a maintenance project so that you can have the opportunity to volunteer to improve the SHT.
