| Q1: | I haven't been on the trail before. Where should I go? |
| A1: | The Split Rock River Loop is a favorite section. It is not too long, 5.0 miles and it is relatively easy. There will be some climbing on the west side but not too bad. The waterfalls and views are nice and there is a nice lunch spot near the bridge across the river. There are other recommended hikes that are not too difficult to access. These are: Wolf Rock, Carlton Peak, Caribou Falls, High Falls on the Baptism River, Oberg Mountain, and Lake Agnes. All of these are in the Guide. - Bill Dryborough Back to Top

| Q2: | What section of trail is your favorite? |
| A2: | My personal favorite is the Silver Bay to Hwy 1 section which is 11.1 miles. This is a long, rugged but very beautiful section of trail. It includes: Bean and Bear Lakes, Round Mountain, Mount Trudee, and the High Falls on the Baptism River. Other personal favorites: Hwy 1 - Lake Cty 6, Crosby-Manitou State Park-Caribou Wayside, Lutsen-Caribou Trail. - Bill Dryborough Back to Top
